Horrible History of Howard Zinn
Watch a preview
This three part series will show you why Howard Zinn’s work became so influential and why it is equally so dangerous. Learn about his beginnings and doctrine.
This series covers:
Episode 1 - Intro
Howard Zinn origins and influences along with his social history point of view vs significant event-based, significant-people-based history that lacks acceptable citation standards.
Episode 2 - World War II
As a veteran, Howard Zinn, witnessed World War II firsthand. Just the same, Larry points out some, but certainly not all the errors in Zinn’s history of the period. The examples show that Zinn’s goal was to combine all kinds of unrelated, incomplete and pseudo-facts to support that the United States was just as complicit in inciting the war as the Germans. You’ll find this hard to believe.
Episode 3 - Bacon’s Rebellion
What was Bacon’s Rebellion and why was it so important in American History? The answer is simple: it was about the government not listening to the people. Howard Zinn saw it as an opportunity to paint this with the brush he liked to use so often: class warfare and racism.
