IN POLITICAL NEWS
1) It does not look like there will be a brokered convention for the DemoKKKrats. They got Rutabaga out, and Harris in. Now she has enough delegates to be the nominee. That doesn't help much as several post-resignation polls have Harris losing as bad as Rutabaga ever did. Another---a left-leaning poll---has Trump up 5, and this D poll has Trump up in all the swing states, usually outside the MOE. Wait til people actually hear her cackle! Or, as the Washington Examiner says, "DemoKKKrats Rally Around the Worst Possible Candidate."

2) And it now appears Rutabaga delayed his exit in part because he didn't think Harris could beat Trump. Even DemoKKKrats are admitting there is a temporary honeymoon period with Harris. Oh, and her staff hated her so much 92% resigned in the first three years.
3) Since no one in government appears to be investigating the Trump shooting, Heritage Foundation did and found that the shooter's phone data tracked back to an FBI office. Shocked, I tell ya. At least Secret Service Diversity hire, Director Kim Cheatle, resigned. As she should. Now that it's safe and Rutabaga has resigned as a candidate, the Department of INJustice agrees to release Biden's biographer's notes to Special Counsel Robert Hur.
4) Speaking of things legal, the Supes have ordered New York to respond to a Missouri lawsuit saying their persecution of President Trump via gag orders violates Missourians' rights to hear him speak freely about the election.
5) In what should be a gimme, the UAW president says his union will not rush an endorsement of Harris.
IN ECONOMIC NEWS
6) Big solar in America and Europe is starting to go the way of Big Wind, which is to say, out of business.
7) An idea for a dream city backed by billionaires outside of San Francisco has been put on hold as not financially feasible. Shocked.
8) Delta canceled or delayed thousands of flights due to the internet outage.
IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS
9) Well, this is interesting. Deep-ocean minerals were discovered producing oxygen. In other words, not just photosynthesis with plants!
10) This sounds positively disgusting: Japanese researchers have developed a "forbidden liquid jelly drink" to help people lose weight without Ozempic. Yeah, I guess it's hard to eat if you're puking.
IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS
11) Faux News had a defamation case against it thrown out. The case was brought by Rutabaga's disinformation czar.
12) Looks like the dam finally broke with Disney, as the parks lowered prices and reduced hotel rates.
13) Sharon Stone will return, this time as a villain in "Nobody 2." I loved the fiirst one. We'll see if they can recreate the magic in a sequel.
AND FINALLY. . .
14) This was inevitable: Taylor Swift and Jason Kelce are going through a "rough time." I have an idea: how about a couples retreat with J-Lo and Ben or Megxit and the Ginger Duke? We could call it "Swift Times at Westminster High" or "Flip this Diamond Ring."
