1) This author thinks that the judicial resistance will fail. I agree, but I think he places way too much faith in the legislative branch doing anything. In six weeks, they have not done a single thing, passed a single bill, or impeached a single judge. Some federal judges are resisting the resist. This one said DOGE could access federal information systems.
2) Meanwhile blue states have filed for a temporary restraining order preventing Trump or DOGE basically from doing anything, and of course this landed with the Ho Cake Chutkin. Anything in this vein would be expedited post haste to the Supes.
3) Insiders are describing the DOGE nerds as "energetic and dug in." DOGE has found over 15,000 IRS agents who could be let go as early as next week. Look I already voted for Trump. You don't need to convince me.
4) After several scabnugget federal prosecutors resigned in protest, MAGA moves on and the DOJ moved to dismiss all charges against would-be ally in the immigration wars, Eric the Red Adams.
5) Meanwhile, let's look at the real world. How much faith do people have in these glandmagnet judges? Check out the listings in the DC area:
6) In 30 days, nearly 4,000 (!!) homes have been put on the market and the median home price has fallen $139,000. Year over year listings in parts of northern Virginia are up more than 60%, in D.C. itself, 23%. Listings accelerated after the DOGE buyouts were announced. And there have been a surge of listings of homes over $1m. And DOGE said it will eliminate 2/3 of all office buildings in DC.
7) Or maybe consider this metric? Searches for "lawyers" in the District of Columbia in the last two months.

10) Ok, where did you hear this before? I told you that we needed to review and modernize unions---they absolutely cannot be violent, and we have to have right to work laws---but there is a place for employees who want a union, and those voters are now in the GOP. Hence, Sen. Josh Hawley of MO has introduced a number of modernizing elements that would begin the process of turning the "rented" union voters under Trump to permanent MAGA.
11) As if DemoKKKrats weren't in bad enough shape, they are losing Indian-Americans.
12) The Federal Trade Commission prohibited people from holding memberships in or leadership positions in the American Bar Association. Good. Conflict of interest.
13) Not surprised: the MAGA team ran secret prep sessions with all nominees. There were 200,000 calls, donors and grassroots mobilized, and Trump personally threatened to primary anyone who opposed them.
14) Republicans in Congress are (supposedly) moving to repeal Nixon-era impoundment laws that will allow Trump legally not to spend money allocated by Congress. This is the unstated version of a line item veto.
15) In an AZ "swing voter poll" (very small sample) 100% supported Trump, Musk, DOGE. 100%.
16) Under the evil Rutabaga administration $151 million in Army food was diverted from soldiers for other uses.
17) Oh, speaking of Rutabaga, his chief strategist, Mike Donilon, said the DNC "lost its mind" after the Demented Pervert's debate meltdown. This is good. It means they STILL don't understand why they lost.
18) Even though North Carolina voted for President Trump three times, it still had a slight DemoKKKrat voter registration edge. Last month alone Rs cut into the DemoKKKrat lead by 1600, bringing their total to 32,000. It's entirely possible that NC, like PA, will be red by the end of the year, and quite likely for both by early 2026. And nationwide, liberal donors ain't too happy, "venting at DemoKKKrats and fearing Trump," they are pulling back their cash. Gee, without that and all the government grift that DOGE is drying up, what will DemoKKKrats do?
19) "Shipwrecked Crew" has a good analysis of why the temporary restraining orders involving the firing of the guy currently holding the "Office" of special counsel (who is NOT a special council, but a mere "reporter") may provide the best opportunity for Trump's legal team to squash the last hopes of the Deep State's bureaucracy.
20) DemoKKKrats conceded Trump and Musk are "running circles" around them online. What I've been saying. They are five steps behind.

46) Last week I had the story of J.D. Vance's relative, a little girl, denied a heart transplant at an Ohio hospital cuz she wasn't vaxxed. Now they are denying a 54 year old veteran a transplant for the same stupid reason.
