The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) President Trump immediately criticized the stupid, unreal, illegitimate "boxing match" between a man and a woman in the Olympics, then advocated ending taxes on Social Security. He continues to lead in Big Data poll by 1.2% despite all the hoopla over new Cackles phony polls.

4) A whistleblower says the acting Secret Service chief retaliated against agents who had concerns about the Trump protection.

5) The New York Slimes is desperate to try to make people think Cackles is popular. No, she isn't. The Hoax polls will last another three weeks. Then you'll start to see articles on how depressed the DemoKKKrats are that they don't have a better candidate.

6) A Louisiana mayor was accused of raping a minor just one week after she resigned. And Groomer City (SF)'s mayor is offering the homeless bus tickets out of town. Why? I thought you guys love you some homeless?

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

8) U.S. unemployment reached the highest levels since 2021 and the jobs report was a shockingly low 114,000. For the record, this is about 300,000 too low for growth. As a result of this horrible report, the DOW dropped 900 points.

9) Looks like DemoKKKrats ain't so sure Cackles is gonna win. They are demanding Fed rate cuts now.

10) Companies are building new factories, but aren't hiring people, rather they are substituting robots.

11) Chevron moved its headquarters to Texas.

12) Car repossessions rose 23% over last year.

13) Intel has announced layoffs affecting 15% of its workforce.

14) Is J.C. Penny the next big chain to go under? It is shutting four stores across the country.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

17) The Venezuelan people are about to see their own version of Adolf Hitler, as Maduro, in response to losing the election, is building "reeducation centers" (i.e. concentration camps.) Meanwhile, the U.S. government, in a surprise move, recognized Edmundo Gonzolez as the winner of the Venezuelan election.

18) Another male Olympic boxer defeated a woman in the Olympics. Shameful.

19) Idiotic net zero regs, unless other air

lines adopt the Air New Zealand model, will price ordinary families out of flying by 2050.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

22) Actor Michael Rappaport admitted he was wrong about President Trump and says he will not vote for Cackles.

AND FINALLY . . .

24) My idol as a drummer growing up was Vanilla Fudge/Cactus drummer Carmine Appice who turned 77 yesterday. I still think from 69 to about 77 he was the best rock drummer ever. He was the only rocker to write a drum book and to my knowledge the only one ever to be invited to be a "color commentator" on ESPN's drum and bugle corps competitions. I even got a set just like his 1976 "Cactus" Ludwig set, and kinda looked like him. After we opened for "Steppenwolf" in Florida, I went out from back stage to look down at the stage when Steppenwolf performed. A kid came running up to me: "Carmine! You were great." All I could say was, "Thank you."
