The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) President Trump paused for 90 days tariffs to be imposed on the rest of the world but raised the tariff on China to 125%. Stocks went crazy with the DOW jumping 8 points and the NASDAQ had its highest one-day gain in history, 12 points. Steve Eisman, who predicted "The Big Short," says Trump will "pretty much get what he wants." IF, but only if, the countries negotiate successfully, they will face a 10% across the board tariff. The stiff-necked ChiComs, apparently thinking (correctly) they are facing an Extinction Level Event, raised tariffs an additional 84% earlier, forcing Trump to hike ChiCom tariffs again to 154%. We can do this all night long. 2) Already Canada and the EU have caved. Canada will negotiate asap, while the EU has matched Trump's 90-day pause to work things out. My own view is that they will need a little more pain until we get their minds right.

4) Rutabaga's corrupt administration held secret talks with the ChiComs over the spy balloon before making the news public or shooting it down. 5) Fascistbook is in heap big trouble again after a whistleblower said she witnessed the company repeatedly undermine American security in dealings with the ChiComs.

6) A dogspooge named Krebs who was part of the 2020 steal lost his security clearance and now is under investigation for, well, in Trump's words, "treason." Course the New York Times claims he's being investigated for resisting "Trump's lies." and of course the Slimes is a major lying propaganda organ not even worthy of Baghdad Bob, Tokyo Rose, or Izvestia. Another exec order went over the election stealing Dominion by targeting its lawyer. These were names not on everyone's list, and it Oh, and Joe Kent, in his confirmation hearing, said January 6 (Patriot Day) is under investigation as a fedsurrection fomented by undercover FBI agents.

7) The House vote to advance the Trump agenda went forward by just two votes. Think about that: there are two empty D seats due to dead DemoKKKrats and to the two new FL reps who voted for it.

8) DOGE continues to cut---another $70 million in contracts---but the House has anemic cuts. Don't know when these guys in Congress are gonna get the message.

9) The Senate has confirmed Lt. Gen. Dan "Raizin'" Caine as head of the Joint Chiefs. At least it's not "Raisin" Caine. 10) Someone is running for president, as MI governor Witless Protection came out in favor of Trump's tariffs. "We need fair trade."

11) The President of the Navajo nation has praised President Trump's policies.

14) A grad student has discovered a "shape changing liquid" that defies the laws of thermodynamics. Is it related to this guy?

15) Meanwhile, this tech whiz teen with a 4.0 GPA who sold his company off for $30 m can't get into 15 colleges. Gee, wanna guess why?

16) Pete Hegseth reviewing plans for the space based "golden dome" ABM/anti-cruise missile defense. I personally have a feeing some subs will be involved, too, and that these will likely not use kinetic weapons but energy or EW.

17) This SUNY prof was involved in a "cash to pass" scheme. When I was a prof, I told my students I never took a bribe---but there was always a first time and to make sure any jewelry came with an official appraisal.

18) A ducktwaddler female officer who said after Vice President J. D. Vance's visit to our military base in Greenland that "the concerns of the U.S. administration discussed by Vice President Vance on Friday are not reflective of Pituffik Space Base." Er, yeah, toots, they are. You are a SUBORDINATE of Vance and Trump. She was dismissed.

19) RFK, Jr. has launched an investigation into the spike in autism rates. Right on cue, a Journal of the American Witchcraft Association, er, "Medical" Association comes out labeling information he hasn't even investigated yet as fake science. The medical profession's last little slice of respectability is swirling the toilet along with the DemoKKKrat Party.

20) Seth Keshel argues that electronic voting has possibly entered the terminal phase with new overtures by Tulsi Gabbard and President Trump to outlaw it

21) DOGE has found $69 million in jobless claims filed by people who haven't even been born yet. I'm certain they are all DemoKKKrats. Meanwhile the Pentagon has canceled $5.1 billion in consulting and IT contracts. So far, however, we are seeing relatively little at all cut by Congress in its budget. The House budget has a cut of $1.5 trillion over 10 years. Ok, $1.5 trillion in ONE year? Maybe.

IN ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIEN NEWS

23) Thousands of illegal invaders scheduled to be deported have chosen to use the "CPB Home" app to self deport

24) In a 9=0 ruling, the Supes said Trump must re-admit Kilmar Garcia because he was wrongly deported. That's if they can find him in that El Salvador prison. I have to say, I thought this one might be a bridge too far. However a Trump appointed judge approved Trump's illegal alien registry.

IN CULTURAL NEWS

26) Sad, but Ryan Burge finds that only about .05% of those who were not religious ("nones") in 2020 had converted two years later, most of them Protestant, a disproportionate number black, and a small number became regular church attenders.

27) The administration stomped on Cornell and Northwestern, freezing $1 billion in funds at the former and $700 million at the latter for Civil Rights abuses.

28) Ooook. They have an anti-flu chewing gum. I'm good with that unless you find out it has a Fauci-flavor.

IN TRANSOID NEWS

29) An Illinois school is facing federal charges for forcing girls to change in front of a transoid. DOJ better have judge-shopped this venue.

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

31) David Blackmon argues that if there is any "green" future, it's not electric, solar, or wind, but hydrogen. And guess what? The main refining process to get hydrogen needs natural gas. And guess what? The US has more natural gas than any place in the world AND has the pipeline infrastructure to use it. And in a second column he notes that AI needs natural gas to survive. By the way, if you saw my substack the other day, you'd know I discussed America's massive natural energy reserves---more than anywhere in the world. Well, they just got bigger as the Department of Energy announced a much larger new estimate of oil reserves in the Gulf of America.

34) Consumer prices fell by the most in 5 years, with rent inflation back to pre-Rutabaga levels.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

36) Oh? So Trump's tariffs on Chy-na ARE working? Both the New York Slimes and the Washington Compost say so. Meanwhile, in another sign that Trump has already won, Chy-na is begging him to meet them "halfway." Nope. Crush them now, before they, like Japan did in the 1930s, get to the point where they respond with a shooting war.

37) Researchers observing identical twins found that the presence of tattoo ink increases cancer risk.

38) Orstead begged Europe to act to stop the "downward spiral" of wind energy. Why is it in a downward spiral if it's so great? The answer, my friend, is blowin in the wind---but it ain't blowin energy production. Speaking of Euro winds, many of the "wind farmers" are now fighting with each other about a "wake effect," i.e., stealing air. This should be good.

39) A Scottish electric battery plant exploded for the second time in less than a year.

40) Pete Hegseth just got back from Panama where he secured a deal for FREE US transhipment. We had been paying millions.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

42) The Kennedy Center sets records with a 76% increase in first time visitors under Trump.

43) The Minecraft movie has already done $336 million worldwide. "Snow Black" has done $169 million. "The Chosen's" episode the "Last Supper" has done $8 million.

44) The Angel Studios animated film "King of Kings" about Jesus has already brought in $8 million in presales. On a budget of $15 million (probably $1m in marketing) the movie has made back 25% of its budget before it even opens.

45) "A Working Man" was a disappointment. I like Jason Statham but Sly Stallone's script was slow and predictable and the movie was way too dark. See my review here.

46) Big. Gina Carano has just been granted discovery in her suit against Disney.

IN CHINA VIRUS NEWS

47) Seven states have opened criminal referrals against Dr. Fallacy and other top China Virus officials. No, the federal pardon won't protect them.

48) Idaho took a giant leap toward medical freedom by banning vax/medical mandates in schools and businesses.

AND FINALLY . . .

50) This is pretty funny. A group of fans wrote "GO MARINERS" on their shirts at a Seattle Mariners' game. But when they turned around the back of their shirts said "SELL THE TEAM."
